AMOR PROTEGIDA
Amor Protegida ( Protected Love ) another piece from my "Día de los Muertos" Series. I had the idea of showing a trusted love in this piece. The best way I could describe my idea of the concept of "protected love" was to show it should not be confined. Having the Bird represent the heart, sitting safely in the bottomless change reveals the choice the "heart" has of staying or freely go. The heart is there because it "chooses" to be, not because it's caged or trapped.
